Albert will be attending the upcoming New York premiere of the mockumentary East of Hollywood as part of the ensemble cast. The film screens on April 19th at Cinema Village as part of the Manhattan Film Festival. The film screens at 6:15pm; tickets are available here. East of Hollywood recently won the Audience Award at the Asians on Film Festival in LA and Best Narrative Short at the Boston Asian American Film Festival.
Built in 1963 in the shell of a turn of the century fire station, Cinema Village is the oldest continuously operated cinema in Greenwich Village and one of the oldest continuously operated art cinemas in the city. Manhattan Film Festival was recently named among “The Coolest Film Festivals in the World″ as well as “25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry” by MovieMaker Magazine.
