The Butler and the Ball will premiere in Texas at the GTX Film Festival in Georgetown, just 30 miles north of Austin. The film will screen on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 10am (CT), at the City Lights Theatre in the Youth Made Short Films category for filmmakers who are age 18 and under and enrolled in grade school. Films in this category compete for the Youth Short Film awards. Tickets for the live screening at City Lights Theatre are $15 and available here.

Once The Butler and the Ball has screened live at City Lights Theatre, the film will be available for on-demand viewing until Sunday, September 19, 2021, 11:59pm (CT) here. Tickets are $25 and allow access to all of the festival’s virtual screenings.

The Butler and the Ball, an urban fairy tale about a lonely boy who enters a contest to become the new butler of a grieving, reclusive singer, was directed by eight-year-old Andrew Chan-Possemato, who wrote and produced it with Albert.
