The Butler and the Ball has been officially selected for the International Competition of the 21st Annual Camera Zizanio, which shows films created by children and young people under 20 years of age. The 21st Camera Zizanio takes place in-person from November 27-December 4, 2021, in the city of Pyrgos, Greece. The Butler and the Ball screens on December 2, 2021, at 10:30am local time, at the Pyrgos Conference Hall.

The festival will also take place digitally from December 4-14, 2021, on their online platform along with the 24th Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People.

The European Meeting of Young People’s Audiovisual Creation – Camera Zizanio began in 2001 as an initiative for youth in the framework of the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People. More than 80 young filmmakers, mostly from Europe, attend the Festival in order to present their films and participate in the international film workshop Mythos Project.

The Butler and the Ball, an urban fairy tale about a lonely boy who enters a contest to become the new butler of a grieving, reclusive singer, was directed by eight-year-old Andrew Chan-Possemato, who wrote and produced it with Albert.
