Albert has been cast in the dual role of Dean/David in the Off-Off-Broadway production of BLACK PLAY by H. Hasberry, running this June at WOW Café Theater in New York City.

BLACK PLAY follows three racialized Black college students as they prepare to perform the closing night of their university theater department’s production, The Black Play. When they discover that their fourth castmate cannot go onstage due to collegiate neglect and abuse, the evening becomes a confrontation with performance, institutional harm, and trauma.

Described as “a play of collegiate mishaps & trauma-informed pits,” BLACK PLAY will be presented at WOW Café Theater (59-61 E 4th St., #4, New York, NY).
